Blanche (Gordon) Clark Obituary 1927-2014

     Peacefully at the Maplewood Manor Alberton, on Friday, April 11, 2014, with her family by her side, of Blanche Doreen Clark, formerly of Alma, P.E.I., age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late John C. Clark. 
     Born January 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late David and Minerva (nee Horne) Gordon. Lovingly remembered by her children, Verna Pridham of Alberton; Beverley (Wayne) Crouse of Liverpool, N.S.; Allison of Alma; Ralph (Phyllis) of Alma; and Scott (Wanda) of Alma. Cherished grandmother to Kelly, Alana, Julie, Jennifer, Krista, Allan, Jeremy, James and Corbin. Great-grandmother to Alyssa, Ashton, Aricca, Anne Colby & Danielle. Dear sister to Wilna Warren of O'Leary and Robert (Ferne) Gordon of Alma. 
     She was predeceased by  brothers, Willard, Kenneth and Alton Gordon and by her sister Grace Hamill. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
     Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday, April 13, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday, April 14, 2014, from the Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton at 10;30 a.m., Rev. Robert Lockhart officiating. Interment later in the Montrose United Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Maplewood Manor Residents Fund or to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
